Transfer of data to Ro e-Transport

Since 01.04.2025 all heavy vehicles, loading and unloading goods in Romania, have to be followed via GPS. In addition, an unique UIT code has to present with the monitoring data. This information is required by the romanian authorities in real time, which can be performed in 2 ways: 1. via a mobile application installed on the mobile phone of the driver or 2. via a GPS device – set to communicate with the Ro e-Transport system. The source article can be accessed from HERE.

GPS Logistic has successfully established a “tunel” for data to the Ro e-Transport system. In case you carry out transportation to and from Romania, you can subscribe for this service at: support@gpslogistic.net. We will get back to you shortly, asking for additional information that you have to provide before we launch the data transfer.

The process goes in the following sequence:

  1. You contact us with a request to enable data transmission via GPS Logistic from your vehicles to the Ro e-Transport system (the institution is ANAF)
  2. You will receive a written confirmation when the integration is complete, and we will provide you an account for access to the application that communicates with the Romanian system.
  3. The supplier or your customer must grant you an UIT code, generated specifically for the purpose of the shipment, before the journey begins. This code is valid for 15 days (if it expires, a new one must be generated).
  4. Before the truck enters Romanian territory, you must log in to the application provided for this purpose (sending unit to the Ro e-Transport system) and record the UIT code of the shipment under the vehicle’s license plate number.
